The vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado, was reportedly involved in a theft in Gunn, Alberta before fleeing at high speed toward Alberta Beach.
Police quickly located the stolen Chevrolet Silverado near 60 Street in Alberta Beach and arrested the three occupants without further incident. The investigation led to the seizure of suspected illegal drugs, drug-related items and a prohibited weapon, and also linked one of the accused to an earlier attempted vehicle robbery in Spruce Grove near Century Road.

- On March 26, 2026, Parkland RCMP received a report of a stolen Chevrolet Silverado seen in the Onoway, Alberta area.
- Shortly afterwards, the same vehicle was involved in a theft in Gunn, Alberta, then left the scene at a high rate of speed toward Alberta Beach.
- The Alberta RCMP Community Response Team attended the area and located the stolen truck near 60 Street in Alberta Beach.
- All three occupants of the vehicle were arrested by police without further incident.
During the arrests and subsequent investigation, officers seized the following items from the three accused:
- A significant quantity of suspected methamphetamine
- Suspected cocaine
- Drug paraphernalia consistent with trafficking activity

Further investigative work determined that one of the accused was also involved in an earlier robbery incident in Spruce Grove near Century Road, where there was an attempt to steal a vehicle.
Charges Laid

32-year-old resident of Edmonton:
- Robbery
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Drive motor vehicle while unauthorized
30-year-old resident of Edmonton:
- Possession of property obtained by crime
