Community Alert: Copper Theft & Drug Charges in Wilkie, Saskatchewan
Overview of the RCMP Investigation
On April 25, 2026, officers from the Saskatchewan RCMP North Battleford Crime Reduction Team (CRT) and the Wilkie RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Wilkie, Saskatchewan as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. During the search, police seized methamphetamine, two firearms, and a large quantity of copper wire, and arrested one adult male and two adult females at the scene. As a result, a Wilkie resident, 41-year-old Marlon Marchewka, is now facing multiple drug, firearms, and property-related charges. The investigation by the North Battleford CRT and Wilkie RCMP remains active.
