Background and Convictions

RCMP report the following history for Dodge:

• Previously incarcerated for offences including possession of child pornography and sexual interference.
• Released from custody in 2024 and placed on probation until February 2027.
• After that release, he was arrested for breaching probation.
• A subsequent Kelowna RCMP investigation led to an additional charge of possession of child pornography.
• Dodge pleaded guilty to the new child pornography charge on April 7, 2026.
• He received a 37-month jail sentence, which was credited as time served, resulting in his release on the same date.

Probation Conditions Now in Effect

Dodge is currently bound by a probation order, which includes (in part) the following key conditions:

• No contact with his victims.
• No contact or communication, directly or indirectly, and not to be in the presence of any person under 18, except for members of his immediate family or brief incidental encounters in shared common areas of his residence.
• He must not attend locations where youth are present or can reasonably be expected to be present, including:
  • Public parks
  • Public swimming areas
  • Community centres
  • Theatres
  • Daycare centres
  • Schools
  • Playgrounds
• He must not use any computer network, including the internet, to:
  • Access any content that violates the law.
  • Create or maintain personal profiles on social media sites, social networks, discussion forums, or chat rooms, except when required for employment, and he must notify Probation of any such profiles or platforms he accesses or maintains.
  • Communicate or attempt to communicate with anyone he knows, or reasonably believes, to be under 18 years old, unless they are immediate family members.

Kelowna RCMP, working with Probation Services and other police units, state they will be actively monitoring his behaviour and compliance with these conditions in the community.
