On March 6, 2026, officers from the Alberta RCMP Community Response Team, supported by the Red Deer Crime Reduction Team, Red Deer RCMP, K Division Police Dog Services, and the K Division Emergency Response Team, located and arrested a 40-year-old Red Deer resident who was wanted on Canada-wide warrants. The arrest took place at a residence in the area of 58 Street and 60 Avenue in Red Deer, Alberta.

During the same operation, officers also arrested a 24-year-old Edmonton resident who was present at the location. The investigation led to the seizure of illegal drugs, cash believed to be crime proceeds, weapons, and stolen mail. Both individuals now face multiple criminal charges and have been remanded into custody pending a court appearance.
