RCMP Seek Suspects After Business Break-Ins in Airdrie and Cochrane

Community Safety Alert: Linked Business Break-Ins in Alberta

Airdrie RCMP and Cochrane RCMP are investigating two late-night business break-ins that appear to be connected, both involving the theft of a large laser device. Officers are asking residents and businesses in both communities to review any security or dash camera footage from the relevant time frames and help identify two suspects and a suspect vehicle.

The first incident occurred in the early morning of March 29, 2026, near the intersection of 1st Street SW and Centre Avenue in Airdrie. A similar break-in took place about a week later, in the early morning of April 6, 2026, near First Street East and Pope Avenue in Cochrane. In both cases, video surveillance shows two suspects entering the businesses and removing a large laser device before leaving the scene.
