All four occupants were detained and arrested while officers conducted a search of the vehicle and the individuals. Police seized the following items during the search:

- 1 count – Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, Criminal Code, Section 354(1)(a)
- 4 counts – Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Criminal Code, Section 88(1)
- 2 counts – Possession of ammunition while prohibited, Criminal Code, Section 117.01(1)
- 3 counts – Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Section 5(2)
3. Charges for Elizabeth Sanderson (23), from Prince Albert
- 1 count – Carrying a concealed weapon, Criminal Code, Section 90
- 4 counts – Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Criminal Code, Section 88(1)
- 3 counts – Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Section 5(2)
The three accused appeared in Sandy Bay Provincial Court on May 4, 2026. The fourth occupant of the SUV was released with no charges. Sandy Bay RCMP have indicated that their investigation is continuing.
