Investigators have linked this event to an earlier incident at the same business on February 5, 2026, around 8:00 p.m.. In both cases, the suspect interacted directly with a female employee and engaged in sexually inappropriate behaviour. Police are now appealing to the public to help identify this man so the investigation can move forward and to protect others in the community.

According to Strathcona County RCMP, the most recent incident unfolded when an adult male entered the Sherwood Park pet store on April 10, 2026, and requested assistance from a female staff member. During that interaction, the suspect is reported to have deliberately exposed his genital area on two separate occasions.
After reviewing both occurrences, police determined that the same man had previously visited the store on February 5, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m. During that earlier encounter with another female employee, staff observed the suspect with an erection while he was touching his genital region in a sexual manner.
RCMP investigators are now working to identify the suspect and are releasing a description to the public. The suspect is described as:
- Race/Ethnicity: Caucasian male
- Age: Approximately 32 years old
- Height/Build: About 6 feet tall, with an average build
- Hair/Facial Hair: Light brown or dark blonde hair and beard
- Clothing: Wearing loose black jogger-style or pyjama-style pants during both reported incidents
