Riverview woman, 19, dies in motorcycle crash on Route 132 in Scoudouc

A 19-year-old woman from Riverview, N.B., has died after the motorcycle she was driving crashed on Route 132 in Scoudouc, N.B., on the evening of October 25, 2026, according to the New Brunswick RCMP.

Police said officers from the Shediac RCMP were called to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Route 132 at approximately 5:40 p.m.

What police believe happened

According to the RCMP, the motorcycle was heading north when it is believed to have gone out of control and left the road, ending up in the ditch.

The woman was the driver and the only person on the motorcycle. Police said she died at the scene from her injuries. No other injuries were reported in connection with the collision.

Crews from the Shediac Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick responded, along with the New Brunswick Coroner's Office.

Next steps

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the woman's exact cause of death, police said.

The RCMP said the investigation is ongoing.
