Two Leduc residents were killed and two other people were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Highway 2A and 50 Street in Leduc, Alberta, at about 8 p.m. on June 14, 2026, according to Leduc RCMP.
Leduc RCMP, Emergency Medical Services and fire services responded to the crash, which involved a Ford Fusion and a Ford Edge.
The driver and the front-seat passenger of the Ford Edge, both 55-year-old residents of Leduc, died at the scene. Police have not released their names.

A rear passenger in the Ford Edge was taken to hospital with injuries. Police did not specify how serious those injuries were. The driver of the Ford Fusion was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and is investigating the circumstances and factors that led to the collision.
RCMP said they had not released further details about possible causes, contributing factors or any traffic enforcement arising from the crash.
Police extended their condolences to the families and friends of those who died and those who were injured.
