Series of Assaults and Weapon Use – Trethewey Avenue and Second Location

RCMP received a report of a man assaulting a person at a facility on Trethewey Avenue. Shortly afterward, a second call reported the same man allegedly attacking another victim with a weapon at a different site. The suspect fled before officers arrived at either scene but was located soon after.

Officers recognized the man as someone already well known to police. During the arrest, he allegedly assaulted one of the officers and continued to act aggressively. He was held in custody pending a court appearance.
