This July, the RCMP Academy in Depot is excited to reopen its gates for the much-anticipated Sunset Ceremonies. Taking place over four evenings, each event will feature a distinct theme and special guests to honor the partnerships that bolster our communities. The ceremonies will begin on July 1 with a Canada Day Celebration, followed by nights appreciating first responders, sports, and the military.

The events will be held at the RCMP Academy located at 5907 Dewdney Avenue, with gates opening at 5:30 PM. Ceremonies will commence promptly at 6:00 PM. Highlights include a foot-drill by cadets, a field gun demonstration, and the ceremonial lowering of the Canadian flag at sunset. It’s a unique opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to come together and enjoy this cherished tradition.
