RCMP Alert: Arrest and 3D-Printed Weapon Seizure in Portage la Prairie

Portage la Prairie RCMP successfully apprehended a male suspect wanted for a previous assault. During the operation, conducted on July 17, officers discovered 3D-printed brass knuckles in the suspect’s possession. The arrest took place after an initial encounter at the intersection of Howie Avenue and Royal Road and a subsequent sighting on Saskatchewan Avenue East.

The suspect, identified as Keith Racette, 31, of Sandy Bay First Nation, attempted to evade officers but was eventually detained. The charges against him now include possession of a prohibited weapon and resisting a peace officer.
