Swan River RCMP intervened after multiple harassment reports on July 15 in Birch River. A teenage employee reported being followed by a man while working in the area, prompting safety concerns. Attempts to evade the suspect led to a brief pursuit lasting about ten minutes.

Two hours later, the same suspect menaced a different worker with threats. The RCMP rapidly responded, arresting Nicolas Brading, 36, without further disturbances.
