Authorities responded to a residential fire on the evening of May 31 where a man’s body was discovered. By June 2, the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service confirmed the death was a homicide. The investigation has led to multiple search warrants, and significant evidence has been collected and is being analyzed rigorously.

Investigators are reaching out to the public for help regarding a silver Hyundai Accent seen speeding around the Tower Rd. area of Mulgrave between 8:50 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on May 31. They are specifically interested in obtaining video footage or witness information about the vehicle and its occupants.
