Peel Regional Police have charged a 24-year-old Brampton man with nine offences following an investigation into alleged street racing and dangerous driving in Mississauga and Toronto. Police said they executed a Criminal Code search warrant at a Brampton residence on Oct. 28.

Investigators identified the man as Tarman Toor of Brampton. Over a three-month investigation, police said they identified a driver who allegedly took part in multiple illegal races without licence plates and concealed his identity with a ski mask.

At approximately 1:06 a.m. on Aug. 30, officers observed a red BMW M3 participating in a street race near Explorer Drive and Satellite Drive, police said.

Toor was arrested and charged with three counts each of dangerous operation, disguise with intent and racing a motor vehicle. He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.
