- On April 18, 2026, police arrested one of the suspects, a 32-year-old resident of Edmonton.
- The individual has been charged with recklessly discharging a firearm.
- The accused was brought before a Justice of the Peace and has been remanded into custody for future appearances at the Alberta Court of Justice in Leduc.
Despite this arrest and charge, investigators emphasize that the motive for the shooting remains unknown, and the search for the second suspect is ongoing.
