RCMP Daily Report: 356 Calls Across New Brunswick in 24 Hours

Between 6 a.m. on June 27 and 6 a.m. on June 28, 2026, the RCMP in New Brunswick responded to a total of 356 calls for service across the province. These incidents ranged from impaired driving, assaults, and domestic violence to break and enters, mental health calls, and missing person investigations.

Across all detachments, calls were categorized as 11 Priority 1 events, 134 Priority 2, 169 Priority 3, and 42 Priority 4 files.   • Shediac:
    • Sudden death investigation where no criminal involvement is suspected.
    • Stolen vehicle reported; investigation ongoing.
    • Impaired driving incident, with an individual arrested.
  • Sussex:
    • Missing person file under active investigation.
    • Failure to stop for police. Investigation ongoing.

West Region Incidents

RCMP detachments in the West region responded to assault- and mischief-related files.

  • Keswick: Assault with a weapon under investigation.
  • Saint-Léonard: Mischief complaint being investigated.
  • St. George: Assault incident. One individual was arrested.

Codiac Region (Moncton Area) Incidents

In the Codiac region, which includes Moncton and surrounding communities, police managed assault, traffic, and missing person files.
