BC Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses and dash-camera video after a white Kenworth tractor-trailer struck the Ladner Trunk Road overpass on Highway 99 in Delta on Nov. 4. Both southbound lanes and the overpass were shut down.

Police received the call at 10:39 a.m. on Nov. 4, 2026. When officers arrived, they saw damage to the overpass, which made it necessary to close the two southbound lanes of the highway and the overpass itself, police said.

The tractor-trailer had been travelling south, according to BC Highway Patrol. Its driver stopped at the scene. Police are working with Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement to determine the exact cause of the collision.
