Kamloops RCMP seek suspect in liquor store sexual assault

Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help to identify a man suspected of sexually assaulting an employee at a retail liquor store in Kamloops, British Columbia. The incident happened on June 26, 2026, in the 2100-block of the Trans Canada Highway East.

Investigators report that after paying for his purchase, the suspect allegedly reached around the counter and grabbed the employee’s buttocks, then quickly left the store on foot. It is not yet known whether he later entered a vehicle or continued away on foot from the parking lot. Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognizes him to come forward.
