Kelly Bruneau, 38, of the Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet, has been charged with flight from police after an off-road vehicle got stuck in a ditch on Nov. 3, 2026, according to the RCMP.

Police said a Lac du Bonnet RCMP officer was travelling on Highway 11 in the municipality at 4:50 p.m. when he saw an off-road vehicle crossing and driving on the road. The officer tried to pull the vehicle over, but it did not stop for police.

According to the RCMP, the driver instead drove into a ditch, where the vehicle became stuck. Police said the driver was arrested quickly and without incident.
