RCMP Seek Public Help to Locate Missing Senior and Vehicle

The Meteghan RCMP Detachment is asking for urgent public assistance to locate 79-year-old Malcolm Cromwell, who has been reported missing in Nova Scotia. He was last confirmed seen on December 25, 2025, and officially reported missing on May 22, 2026.

Investigators are also working to find his vehicle, a grey 2008 Jeep Liberty with Nova Scotia licence plate HLZ307. Cromwell may have travelled out of the province around late December 2025 and might have gone to Halifax to take a train, which those close to him say is consistent with his usual behaviour.
