RCMP Alert: Missing Teens in Terrace BC

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Terrace, British Columbia, is seeking public assistance to locate two missing teenagers, Jahmai Nathan Joe and Joshua Gates. Jahmai, aged 15, and Joshua, aged 16, are believed to be traveling together in the areas between Kitimat and Terrace. Jahmai was last seen around 5:00 p.m. on July 19, 2026, on the 4600-block of Lakelse Avenue, while Joshua was last known to be in Terrace on July 14, 2026.

Both teenagers are originally from the Oak Bay area and may be associated with a blue Honda Civic, license plate A537SM. The police and the families of these youths are concerned for their well-being and urge anyone with information to assist in locating them.

• Jahmai Nathan Joe: 15 years old, Indigenous male, 5’8″ (176 cm), 161 lbs (73 kg), black dreadlocks, brown eyes. Last seen wearing all black clothing, including a black hooded sweatshirt and khaki boots.
• Joshua Gates: 16 years old, 5’10” (178 cm), 141 lbs (64 kg), brown hair, brown eyes. Clothing details unknown. May be associated with a blue Honda Civic, BC license plate A537SM.

The RCMP urges the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings to the Terrace RCMP non-emergency line at 250-638-7400 or anonymously through Northern BC Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
