RCMP Alert: Teenagers Charged in Firearm Incident in Île-à-la-Crosse

Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP responded to a report of a firearm discharge near Amisk Crescent on July 16, 2026. Three teenagers were observed leaving the scene and subsequently apprehended by officers on Lajeunesse Avenue.

This incident resulted in the seizure of two sawed-off firearms and bear spray. The teenagers, all local to Île-à-la-Crosse, face multiple charges and appeared in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on July 20, 2026.
